Berry Puff Pastry

Ingredients

300 g fresh seasonal berries
50 g toasted almond slivers
1 tb powdered sugar

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection).
2. Wash and pat dry the berries.
3. Unroll the puff pastry with the parchment paper. Cut four strips, about 2 cm wide, from the long side. Cut four postcard-sized rectangles from the remaining dough. Place the rectangles with the included parchment paper on a baking sheet. Cut off excess parchment paper.
4. Cut the dough strips to fit the edges of the rectangles (two short and two long pieces) and place them as borders on the rectangles, so that each piece gets a kind of frame. Place a quarter of the berries and almond slivers in the middle of each piece.
5. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Dust with powdered sugar.
