Date Bark with Peanuts

peanuts, unsalted

Preparation
1. Lay the dates out (as closely to each other as possible) on a sheet of baking paper.
2. Cover with another sheet of baking paper, and crush the dates with a rolling pin. Then remove one of the sheets of baking paper, and brush the dates with the peanut butter, which you need to heat up slightly to make it slightly runnier.
3. Next, melt the Schakalode drops over a bain-marie or in the microwave.
4. Spread the melted Schakalode evenly over the peanut butter layer.
5. Chop the peanuts finely and sprinkle on the chocolate layer while it’s still warm.
6. If desired, top with the cranberries or other dried fruits.
7. Leave everything to set (overnight if possible; if you can’t wait that long, chill in the refrigerator).
8. Cut into bars and enjoy!
