Potatoes are a long-standing, tried & tested and loyal companion to humankind. The long list of nutrients they contain includes practically everything us humans need to survive. Potatoes are the perfect mix of protein, vitamins, fibre and carbohydrates. What's more, they can be grown almost anywhere, don’t take a lot of time to grow and utilise their soil or land with maximum efficiency. Not only does that make potatoes more easily digestible, but it also makes them more sustainable than many other, intensively farmed bases for milk alternatives.
The full potential of potato
The patented emulsion technology used to transform the potato into a potato drink was developed at the University of Lund, and further research is underway here as to how the mighty potato might be used to its full potential for other methods of sustainable nutrition in future.
