This classic barley grain and chickpea miso in traditional coarse grain organic quality is gently fermented. The taste is softer and sweeter than with a darker miso, making it the ideal basis for soups (as opposed to broths) or for refining vegetables and noodle salads. Ideally mix with a little warm liquid to create an intense, creamy sauce.
