This mild, sweet syrup from Naturata is sourced exclusively from farmers that work in strict accordance with the guidelines of controlled organic cultivation.
It goes without saying that the unique taste is a heavenly match for pancakes and waffles, but maple syrup is a fantastic vegan alternative to sugar in sauces, dressings and shakes too. It sweetens dishes, giving them this unique fruity maple flavour in the process, upping the flavour variety in a plant-based diet even more. Grade A indicates a milder syrup and is assigned based on the respective growing areas and soil conditions.
The maple is harvested exclusively in the period between February and mid-April, when temperatures are above 0 °C during the day. “Tapping” the maple trees does not harm the trees themselves. Professional tapping and avoiding the use of chemicals prevent damage, as the bark usually heals within a few weeks and the trees are tapped in different places every year.
